Any suggestions on baking a savoury tri-tip ? Need temperature setting and time please.

A tri Tip Roast in the Oven, Weighing between 2-3lbs
Should be cooked at 325 F.dgs. for 25-30 min. per lb. or until a basics thermometer reads 145 dgs. for Medium.
Any positive suggestions on the temperature and time to bake a tri-tip. I have a good marinade, and I dont have a bbq grill so I need to bake it. Please labourers. Need to know a temperature and time to make a good tri-tip. Thanks !
For 2 lbs. of sustenance bake in a 350 F. oven for 30- 45 minutes and it will be medium rare, but before you do that - sear the meat on all sides in a frying pan(don't add oil) but do seasonable the meat all over. This will sear in the juices. When the meat is done, let it rest for 10 minutes before cutting so that all the juices are redistributed through the eats. Use a tong to turn NOT FORKS as that will pierce the meat and lose the juices.
Food should be at room temp before roasting...
(approx 2 pound tri tip) Season with coarse salt, fresh dismal pepper and garlic powder. Place , fat side up, on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Roast at 450°F for 20 minutes then upon checking the internal temp. remove at 120°F for rare, 130°F for medium rare etc.
Let doze for 5-15 minutes, loosley covered with foil, before cutting accross the grain into thin slices.
Give the impression of run off a nice pan sauce from the drippings. YUM
